Heavier Things

Hey...this thing is still here!

I miss blogging everyday. Heh.

I miss making super fun lists.

Fun things this semester:

1. Taking two abso-effin'-lutely terrible classes with Adam McCord.

2. Making up silly songs about random things around us.

3. Spending my Saturdays at work with Douglas, trying to determine the most efficient way to say all the curse words at once. (bitchdamnmotherfuckingassshit, by the way, is what we decided)

4. Going to Monday night Devo's at RFC.

5. Dating Drew Hill.

6. Staying up 31 straight hours, surviving on 3 liters of Pepsi, to study for a govt. exam.

7. Watching movies with Adam's nephews, Cody and Chase.

8. Seeing my very first live opera!

9. Eating at Mellow Mushroom and going to the Drive-In (and ruining surprises!)

10. Skipping class!

11. Having fights with friends and knowing they're still your friend.

12. Staying the night in friends' dorms at TN Tech.

13. Watching Project Runway at Ms. Buffy's.

14. Discovering I'm not so bad, after all.

15. Rockin' it at the Ryman with Matisyahu and GOMEZ!!!

"Babe's is the place you get off at."  heh. heh. heh.

Have I mentioned that Imogen Heap is my favorite?!

Graduation is over, thank goodness, as well as the senior service at church. Thanks for coming, funnybutton!

Plans for the week include: a hot, steamy photo shoot on tuesday, then a mary kay party, church wednesday night, Emmy's graduation on thursday, visit with Mr. Williams at some point...anyone want to fill the rest of my time for me? Because as of right now, all I have to do is read a bunch of trash in between events. =P

Google search, "Kelsey wants..."

Kelsey wants a baby, not a man.

Kelsey wants to be a victim of racism.

Kelsey wants everybody to know that she didn't do this for attention.

Kelsey wants to go to the party.

Kelsey wants to become a horse trainer when she grows up!! (yay!!)

Kelsey wants to destroy.

Kelsey wants to serve the people.

Kelsey wants it HORRIBLY!

Kelsey wants Jewish feminists to change their attitude.

Kelsey wants your body.

Kelsey wants a videotape of my death to play at the office Christmas party and other festive occasions.

Kelsey wants to screw her neighbor.

Kelsey wants Michael.

Kelsey wants me to drive the sperm-mobile.

Kelsey wants to do it with us too!

Kelsey wants me to say she's prettier.

Kelsey wants to the Ren. Fest this weekend. (Yay! I really do)

With You

My boss is the sweetest man...He calls his wife Princess.  When he found out that Brandi and I went fishing by ourselves for a while and were planning on going night fishing without any boys for safety he freaked out and said he needed to find me a beau to protect me. Heh. heh. heh.

This isn't as pretty as the real thing, but it's kind of close. =D

With thee conversing, I forget all time,

All seasons, and their change; all please alike.

Sweet is the breath of Morn, her rising sweet,

With charm of earliest birds; pleasant the Sun,

When first on this delightful land he spreads

His orient beams, on herb, tree, fruit, and flower,

Glistering with dew; fragrant the fertile Earth

After soft showers, and sweet the coming-on

Of grateful Evening mild; then silent Night,

With this her solemn bird, and this fair Moon,

And these the gems of Heaven, her starry train;

But neither breath of Morn, when she ascends

With charm of earliest birds, nor rising Sun

On this delightful land, nor herb, fruit, flower,

Glistering with dew, nor fragrance after shower,

Nor grateful Evening mild, nor silent Night,

With this her solemn bird, nor walk by moon,

Or glittering starlight, without thee is sweet.

But wherefore all night long shine these? for whom

This glorious sight, when sleep hath shut all eyes?

--John Milton, Paradise Lost, Book IV, 639-658
